Missy
Crider appears in Reeseville as Athee Collins. Missy’s
career began as a child when she was named the Young Entertainer
of the Year at the Ozark Mountain Music Awards, landing a New York
talent agent at the age of 13. Still a teenager, she got a role
in the mini-series Lonesome Dove followed by an Emmy Award
nomination for her acting in the TV movie Love in the Dark Ages.
Her first feature, A Boy Called Hate, won the Grand Jury
prize at the Berlin Film Festival in 1997.
In
the past few years Missy has increased her visability through a
variety of rolls including Becky in the Bill Paxton feature Frailty,
Diana in David Lynch’s Mulholland Dr., Janine in
the sci-fi series C.S.I., and Claire in the Showtime series
Jeremiah. Missy joins the cast after wrapping production with
Al Pacino, Jennifer Lopez, and Ben Affleck on the soon to be released
romantic comedy Gigli.
